Welcome to One Little Monkey!

Welcome to my blog! Some of you may remember me (that is, if she plugged this site) as a guest on srah's website about two years ago. Well, with prodding from both her and alfie, I've started my own blog.

Since we last met our hero (that would be me), she has "graduated with a Master's degree in Biological Anthropology from Kent State University, having specialized in primatology with a focus on juvenile behavior of South American primates" (that's my professional response and also what I write in cover letters). I am currently a research tech in not one but two monkey labs, although I haven't started at the full-time job yet.

So, the site may be a little monkey obsessed, what with all the monkeys, and the name comes from this: there is just ONE of me, I like to think I'm litte, despite being on the tall side of average, and I like monkeys. Also, as it comes from the rhyme about the monkeys jumping on the bed, I too like jumping on beds (and I mean that in a little-kid type way), although I haven't done it in a while because I won't ruin my own matress.

Ooookay, slight rambling going on. I'll stop now.

  • Hey, you're linking to me! Oooh! I'll have to link to you, too. :)

Juvenile behavior in primates, eh? So, you study men? Ba-dum-dum-CH!

  • You need to change your comment settings to allow anonymous comments so that my mom can comment without creating a Blogger account! :)

  • Or if there's a setting to allow "Other" comments, that would work too!

  • I know, that sheep thing makes me mad! I mean, my fate was set at birth, and I've only studied sheep a little!
